President's Message

Hello fellow PPC members,

I want to recognize all of your efforts to overcome challenges that might have dissuaded even Indiana Jones to attend our Fall Meeting in Lake Tahoe. Perhaps it was the excitement of seeing everyone for the first time in over a year. Spirits were high, in spite of the smoky conditions. That is just more confirmation that it is the people that make the PPC such a strong organization. Indeed ‘WE ARE THE PPC’.

And while many of us have resumed our normal job activities, there are a few teams working behind the scenes on behalf of the organization:

  • We barely get the laundry finished from this meeting and our TEC Committee is hard at work lining up the technical presentations for the Spring Meeting in Tucson.
  • The LRP (Long Range Planning) Committee is working to ensure the PPC stays true to it's membership goals, mission and vision.
  • The Board of Directors represents our membership in all that we do.

If you are interested in becoming more actively involved in the PPC by joining one of these groups, please reach out to Brenda Baker.

Next, a big shout out to all of our new members at the Fall Meeting! It was great to meet you, and I challenge you to take a minute to reach out to someone you met in Tahoe, just to say ‘Hello’.

Finally, I wish you good health and safety so when we meet in Tucson (did someone say ‘Tradeshow’?) we can continue to celebrate this great organization and what it means to all of us.

'WE ARE THE PPC'

Benefits of Membership

The PPC not only offers the opportunity to network within the petroleum packaging and blending industry, but technical education, specialized PPC College courses and opportunities to meet with potential customers and vendors. We host a tradeshow every fourth meeting. This is another opportunity to inform members about the product and services you offer.

PPC's diverse membership is made up of professionals from the U.S., Canada, and abroad.

Building relationships through networking and meetings is of the utmost importance for the continued success of your business. Meet other packaging professionals when you attend the semi-annual meetings held throughout the U.S. in March and August.
